Spring is almost upon us!! Wednesday sees the spring solstice come into play and officially opens the door for some allegedly nicer weather and a steady flow of flowering shrubs, bulbs and plants. In some gardens the hawthorn hedges are just breaking into leaf! Hawthorn leaf tea is a nice relaxing drink not to mention good for you! The first rhododendron is half way through flowering and the winter favourite Viburum bodnantense is still flowering away at full throttle. Wild garlic is poking is leaves out in the woodlands as are daffodils, crocus and toad flax!
Landscaping sees us finishing a driveway in Indian Stone and planting a bare rooted copper beach hedge!! Hopefully we get a dry week and are able to progress on to our next project
